SOCKS  members love to repeat the stories of the people and places in Kenya that we so adore as often as people will listen but we are doing the telling.

Below is a beautiful letter written by a wonderful young woman at JOYLAND.

We wanted to share her voice.

Our fearless team has returned from an inspiring and incredibly productive trip to Kenya.  There will be more news soon to follow with details that can be found in our Galleries

Just a preview on the type of wonderful experiences that were made possible because of our wonderfully kind supporters.

JOYLAND Special School for the Physically challenged, in Kisumu, receives ongoing support from SOCKS.  Generous donations allowed our team to give extra funds for much needed equipment.

SOCKS continues to be out and about in the communities around Nakuru.

A visit to  drop off needed supplies to Mr. Langat.

Paul gets a great hug and the team is invited into the home.  Amazing times.

About a week and a half in Kenya already and SOCKS has arrived at Mission in Action.

Already out and about the community and meeting ladies who with the help of Mission in Action  have started their own cottage industry creating bags.
