Through the generous donations of people in Canada, SOCKS was able to ‘Do Something’ for people in need as they crossed our paths. So many in Kenya are in such dire need but these projects and people touched our hearts. We feel we have truly made connections and are so grateful to have been given opportunities to help.

Mombassa –
Do Something money bought a new well cover for Victorious school in a rural village outside of Mombassa. The old cover had rusted away and was causing great concern for the safety of the children. A second village school called Little Angels was given money to buy a new water pump. They had been without water for a few days and thought that a new part would suffice but as we walked through their gates, the workmen were telling the headmistress that they would need a brand new pump. Do Something money to the rescue.
